Bangalore memories: Dyuti
It's been a year since I left Bangalore and somehow, managed to push my husband, AM; out of the city and shift to Hyderabad. Bangalore has many memories since 2012. My first job, our dating space and my independent arena.
I still miss the chilly mornings in Bangalore and the cosy and comfortable space that I had there. After Kolkata, it was Bangalore which made me feel at home. My MA days in Hyderabad were a witness to teary departures from Howrah Station, but to fly back to Bangalore was never a pain.
It's been a year to all the laughter filled evenings and my darling Dyuti always at my call.
I miss her with all my heart, despite the innumerable fights that we used to have. Irrespective of all the other negatives of this city, it holds a special place in my heart.
The city had helped me to make new friends and a family with a totally new set of people. We might have fought nth number of times, but the city reminds us only of you. I could never forget the first time I felt you in your mother's womb swirling all around in her belly. The first time I visited you at Sudipta Di's place till the time you arrived in Bangalore.
Dyuti has always been a friend, the first baby who chose me to be her friend, foe and what not. The weekend video and phone calls don't quite suffice to what we used to experience in Bangalore, and I hope to return back and reunite with you. I remember how you always made it possible to come up with a deep fascination with whatever I wore. She truly is a darling, a very obedient and lovely daughter born to such lovely parents.
Though this month is nothing about your birthday (we share the same birth month as well), but a random 'missing you' thought urged me to come out with this post only for you.
You won't quite understand what I have written down here, but someday when you grow up, you might read it and feel it.
To be continued...
